A journalist has many important roles that make up weather or not a story will turn out good or bad. the first thing is to find out what people are looking for. find out everyone interest and what they enjoy. some people may like sports, others are more towards current events, and news from around the globe. then there are people who just want to know about school. after sorting through all of these category’s of interest the journalist needs to find a good story. the story needs to be appealing, interesting, and something people will read and say “i didn’t know that”, or “i want to know more about it”. of course it takes time to find a story of that magnitude. its almost always impossible to get every person who reads your paper to like a certain story. those are the important roles of a journalist.
